Scott

Scott owns Stonehenge CrossFit and is our Head Coach. He has been coaching multiple disciplines for a number of years. Scott has really found his love for teaching and coaching within CrossFit and the the fitness industry.

When not doing CrossFit
Scott is very much a family man and loves spending time with his wife and daughter.

Favourite Workout

'Fran' 21-15-9 Thursters and pull-ups. Short burst, exploding lungs, 'love it!'.

Tris

Tris

Tris was an original founder of Stonehenge CrossFit and still coaches with us when his work commitments allow.

You'll find Tris walking his French bulldog/pug cross Poppy and his two Pug Dog Welfare and Rescue Association pugs Toby and Rocky. Plus spending time with his children Ben and Lois and writing books.

Favourite Workout

I like the grind of Murph (1 mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats and 1 mile run) but the skill of Amanda (9-7-5 ring muscle ups and snatches).

Personal Motto
For CrossFit, it's 'Crawl, Walk, Run.' That equates to focus on technique first, building consistency with technique and then increasing the intensity. That, and run your own race - no-one else's.


Waz

Waz

Waz has been coaching with us since 2015 and we're lucky to have his expertise in exercise rehabilitation and his sports massage services.

Qualifications
Crossfit Level 1

Foundation Degree in Sport, Health and Fitness

22 years military - 17 years in physical training, 10 years specialising in musculoskeletal injuries with the Royal Army Physical Training Corp

When not doing CrossFit
Spending time with the family, music and playing guitar.

Favourite Workout

Has to be one of the girls... Jackie or Nancy - give those lungs a blast with a side of lifting.

George

George

George set up Kingdom Barbell, based at our CrossFit box, to share his passion for weightlifting with others. Kingdom Barbell is the only Olympic Lifting club in Wiltshire. George also teaches Barbell Club on Sunday mornings for Stonehenge CrossFit members.

Favourite Workout

Back squat 5x5... Start at 80%. Add 2.5kg every week. In 12-14 weeks you'll know why this is my favourite workout - you can always add more weight, but it's harder every time. Your mind will stop progressing before your body.

Mike

Mike joined us in 2015 and is now a popular coach, mainly leading evening classes and Fundamentals sessions for new members.

When not doing CrossFit
Mike is a member of the Armed Forces, with 18 years service to date. He is also a husband and father to 2 children.

Favourite Workout
Fran - it may take you 2 mins or it may take 10 mins, but either way it will leave you on the floor at the end gasping for air!

Della

Della

Della is one of our class coaches and also heads up the Stonehenge CrossFit Kids programme at the box.

Della is a wife and mother to three children and owns a PR and communications agency that specialises in support for the education and not-for-profit sectors.

Paul

Paul

Paul is one of our class coaches at Stonehenge CrossFit. He is also qualified as a Sports massage therapist.

Kat

Kat is one of our competitive CrossFit athlete's and also owns 'Tune Up Fitness' (TUF), running bootcamps and training PT clients at the box.

Kat is a wife and mother to 2 boys and a Company Director of KVF Consultants. Kat has a passion for travel in the UK and abroad. She also loves to cook and likes to challenge herself to create healthy, tasty dishes.
