Stonehenge CrossFit rules of conduct. Each box has its own rules and regulations. Here are our 10 commandments...
1 Turn up
Be on time, practice technique, listen to coaches and learn new skills.
2 If you don't know, just ask
Coaches are here for you all the time. If you unsure ask questions and you will get answers.
3 Support other members
Stonehenge CrossFit is community driven, when it rains, we all get wet. We may train as individuals but we work out as a community.
4 Leave you ego at the door
CrossFit is humbling for everyone, aim for progression, not perfection. Trying to be better than everyone else, or trying to be perfect, will leave you frustrated.
5 Don't put down, put away
Our members view our box as their own and treat it as such. Once we are all done, only then put your gear away, clean up tape and keep chalk in the bucket. If you finish your WOD early, well done. Do not put you stuff away, encourage others.
6 Let coaches coach
Our coaches at Stonehenge CrossFit have learned from record-breaking trainers, CrossFit Games athletes and some of the best in the business. They know what they are talking about and it is their job to inform, instruct and coach technique. While support is great, leave the technical advice to the coaches.
7 Injuries
Don't do anything stupid. Always let a coach know if you are carrying an injury. Eliminate the unnecessary by listening to coaches. Once you have technique, you can strive for consistency and then up intensity. If niggles occur, tell us. Do mobility work.
8 Eat well
Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake that will support exercise but not body fat. Keep it simple. Results will reflect your nutrition and your training. Your nutrition will help determine your results and gains.
9 Have fun
While we take our training and your goals seriously we want everyone to have fun in the process. We enjoy a laugh as much as you do.
10 Bring things to our attention
We won't miss much at Stonehenge CrossFit, but if you notice that equipment is broken, lights are out, there's no toilet paper, let us know so we can do something about it.
